Jenji Leslie Kohan (b. 5 July 1969 in Los Angeles, California) is an American television writer and producer, and creator of Weeds. Other credits include Sex and the City, Gilmore Girls, and Will & Grace (co-created and produced by her brother David Kohan). She won an Emmy Award as supervising producer of Tracey Takes On. Kohan is married to author Christopher Noxon, and has three children. She is the sister-in-law of Marti Noxon. Kohan attended Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, CA.
